Maldonado Institute for the Arts

Maldonado Institute for the Arts (MIA) creates a space for children to explore their creativity.  Dr. Maldonado has been in education for over 30 years.  She has always implemented art in her classroom.  When she saw that the arts brought creativity, unity and trust, helped her students improve in their academics and social-emotional skills, it was then that she knew needed to create a special place. 

MIA is a place where kids are free to explore their passion for the arts.
